Composer, pianist, acoustic engineer, sound designer and artist, Renzo Vitale’s unique combination of skills underlie his extraordinary ability to explore the interfaces between music, science and human perception. His field of scientific research spans psychoacoustics, architectural and vehicle acoustics as well as music communication. As a musician, his ability to immerse himself in the musical and acoustic expression of the human condition places him in the very rare group of artists able to transcend design and composition parameters, seeing all facets of the spectrum and drawing from them simultaneously. He has been appointed a Fellow of the German government’s Competency Centre for the Cultural and Creative Industries, and is also a board member of SPIELMOTOR e.V.
