Health
The health of our participants and our team members has the highest priority for us. We have prepared a detailed hygiene plan to ensure a healthy #mthcon2022 and to prevent the coronavirus spreading.
Please be aware, that as LIVE-ticket-owner you will be asked to show your certificate of full vaccination or recovery from a coronavirus infection AND a negative COVID rapid test (not older than 24hrs) at our registration counter before entrance. MediaTech Hub Conference is providing a small test center at the entrance but we are asking you to bring your negative COVID rapid test with you since our capacity at the entrance is limited.
For all those participants who are not fully vaccinated or recovered from a coronavirus infection we are providing the full programme of MediaTech Hub Conference at our Online Plattform, which is accessible from November 9 until December 8, 2021 for all participants.
We will ensure all health measures for our event in accordance with the latest version of the "Regulation on the handling of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and COVID-19 in Brandenburg" from September 15, 2021.
Please be aware that a change in these regulations is possible at any time. The MediaTech Hub Conference team will make sure to always follow the current legal health requirements and recommendations by the state.

General Health Measures on-site
- To enter MTH Conference you must be a registered participant, or speaker.

- Our Corona Officer will make sure that all health requirements are respected on site.

- Upon arrival, we kindly ask you to present your vaccination certificate, test, or a proof of recovery from a Covid-19 infection.

- All participants are obliged to wear a medical mask or FFP2 mask, to ensure that they keep themselves and others safe. Once participants are seated, the masks can be removed.

- The mandatory distance of 1.5 metres applies.

- Shaking hands and hugging is not allowed at #mthcon2021.

- Separate routes for entry and exit can be used to guide people and prevent crowds.

- Access to food and drinks in self-service areas will be regulated to a limited number. Most of the food and drinks are served outside.

- Additional ashtrays will allow the mandatory distance while smoking.

- At the conference entrances, participants are asked for symptoms (fever, neck scratching, cough, loss of sense of smell and taste) and this is documented. People who are not symptom-free will not be admitted to the conference.

- There will be access regulation to the event areas, fx.centre Lobby (Conference Center), Rotor Film Kino (Entertainment Stage) and fx.centre Kino (Industry Stage). Once a fixed number of participants has been reached, they are closed until the maximum number is undercut again.

- Sanitary facilities will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected on a regular basis. The sanitary facilities will also allow a distance regulation of 1.5 metres.

- The obligation to wear face coverings applies to the entire event area, except during meals and during the programme sessions in the studios.

- For participants who do not have their own face covering, a suitable mask will be provided.

- We will record the personal data (first and last name, telephone number, e-mail) of all participants confidentially to ensure contact tracing.

- Central and clearly visible dispensers for disinfectants are installed.

- A key element in fighting any pandemic is to break the chain of infection. The Corona-Warn-App can make an important contribution to this and support the central work of
the health authorities in tracking contacts.
All participants of the MediaTech Hub Conference are encouraged to use the Corona-Warn-App. It is available free of charge and in several languages in the App Store and Google Play Store.
Personal hygiene guidelines
In addition to the distance requirement, the following hygiene standards must be followed:
- Use the provided hand disinfectant in the entrance area and in every conference area
- Wash hands regularly and thoroughly with soap. Particular attention must be paid to hand hygiene: after entering the location from public areas, after contact with stair rails and door handles and other surfaces in contact with hands from the general public, before putting on and taking off your face covering, before and after eating, after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing, after going to the toilet.
- Do not touch the face with your hands, especially the mucous membranes (mouth, nose and eyes).
- Do not touch publicly accessible objects such as handrails, door handles etc. with your hands or fingers, use elbows if necessary.
- Cough and sneeze into the crook of your arm, keep the greatest possible distance to others and turn away.
Instructions for suspected infections
In particular, fever, cough and shortness of breath may be signs of infection with the SARS CoV-2 virus.
Individuals with such symptoms are asked to leave the premises immediately and stay at home until a medical examination has been performed and the possibility of infection has been ruled out.
If symptoms, illness or a positive test occur within 48 hours after the conference, the person is obliged to contact the organiser directly at health@mth-conference.de.
The person is asked to provide a detailed list of all direct contacts during the conference.
After receiving such information, the organiser will contact all participants immediately. An automatic quarantine for all LIVE participants is not required.
