Director of the Medienanstalt Berlin-Brandenburg

Eva Flecken took office as director of the Media Commission Berlin-Brandenburg (mabb) on March 15th, 2021. Previously, Eva Flecken worked as Vice President and Head of “Public Policy, Regulatory & EU Affairs, Protection of Minors” for Sky Germany.

Before managing Sky’s Berlin offices, she was in charge of Digital Projects as well as Internet and Media Policy at mabb. In addition, she was Head of Platform Regulations for the German Media Authorities, concentrating on issues concerning the digitization of broadcasting. While completing her doctorate at the philosophical faculty at the University of Münster, she worked for a member of the Bundestag with a focus on domestic policy.
