CONFOUNDING SYNTHETIC CONTENT
The exponentially growing need for digital content, along with consumers’ demand for more personalized digital experiences, is boosting the synthetic media space. This poses a serious issue for society at all levels and across the entire media spectrum, as it becomes increasingly difficult for audiences to detect real content from fake or manipulated content. What are the latest trends in synthetic content? How does it manifest itself ? How will the intersection of Metaverse-like environments and AI shape the future of the media industries? At #mthcon22 we will look at the production methods and verification tools that may help to provide some of the answers.

WEB3: DELIVERING THE FUTURE
What is Web3? Based on blockchain (distributed ledger) technology, it’s a quantum leap into a vast realm of possibilities in business and entertainment, just as the internet was at the end of last century. Web 2.0 was the so-called “front-end revolution” that brought with it interoperability and an explosion in user-generated content. Web3 has been called the back-end revolution that will completely reshape the internet as we know it, but in what way, and what does that mean? This track will deliver some answers.

BLOCKCHAIN, NFTs & DAOs – BUSINESS, ART or HYPE?
From Twitter feeds to news outlets, podcasts to dinner tables, there is rarely a conversation in which blockchain, NFTs or DAOs don’t turn up at some point. And as those on the cutting edge are acutely aware, they are all existentially critical: from driving new approaches to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to the crazy early-stage trading in the NFT world of the Bored Ape Yacht Club, our worlds – our universes, even – are rearranging themselves around us as we speak. Which aspects should we engage with and take seriously, and which can we discount as irrelevant? This track will give some insights into these questions, and spotlight the heavy lifting that blockchain technology does to drive it all.
SEP, 29 | 11:00 - 13:00

MEDIATECH IN MOTION
Transportation – especially in the highly visible automotive industry – has always relied heavily on MediaTech, deploying it across the spectrum of industry activities, not just the customer interface. We lift the lid on how these technologies are being expanded and adapted to enhance mobility on the planet in the 21st century.
On Day 2 of the conference, we’ll be holding four workshops where you’ll have a hands-on chance to take part. Some of our top-level speakers and other industry experts will share their insights with you. This is an ideal opportunity for deep MediaTech learning and practical experiences.
