Entrepreneur and former Chairman of the Executive Board at AEG

Heinz Dürr is a German entrepreneur and a major shareholder at the Dürr AG, where he worked the first 23 years of his career – in his last years as Managing Director. He then took over several positions as Chairman or member of Executive or Supervisory Boards. His most important positions included Chairman of the Executive Board at the AEG AG (1980-1990) and at the Deutsche Bahn AG as well as its predecessor companies. In both companies he accompanied groundbreaking measures of restructuring and developing the firms and brands.

Today, Heinz Dürr still holds the mandate of Honorary Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Dürr AG, as well as several other Advisory Board mandates at foundations, organisations and societies.
