As Head Of Production & Business IT at UFA, Marc Schwellenbach and his team are driving a holistic and seamless approach for both modern production workflows and „standard needed“ business IT.
For over 12 years, Marc gained experience as a postproduction supervisor in industrial driven production workflows. The advantages of IT were always promoting to go the next step and integrate technology and collaboration for all departments as much as possible. In 2014, he developed and introduced „Simplify“ – a mobile collaboration tool from scheduling to delivery. It enriches all components with helpful metadata while they „travel“ through the departments. As this tool was tailored for UFA’s needs, it became a standard for all daily drama formats.
Since 2017, he is concentrating on UFA’s overall way into the cloud to establish new standards for flexible and mobile workflows like decentralized postproductions and modern communication and collaboration Tools.
