A 35-hour-long programme will be curated to serve your needs, including keynotes, panel discussions, workshops, fireside chats, and film screenings. Our two stages are focused on the use of MediaTech: one stage deals with MediaTech for the entertainment sector, the second one with MediaTech for industry. We also partnered with Trafo MediaTech offering a stage about ContentTech, the Berlin University of the Arts for a stage on Art Schools and Creative Businesses and the University of Potsdam with a journey into how MediaTech empowered science. The choice is up to you!
We will have four tracks on each stage focusing on a special topic and field of work. Here are some of the issues we are exploring at
MTH Conference 2020:
TRACK E-HEALTH
How can we use digital care concepts and new medical imaging methods to diagnose patients at an early stage, treat them precisely and provide optimal support for their recovery?
TRACK PRODUCTION
What role will technologies play for storytelling and production in the years to come? And how can we co-create the best possible future for film?
TRACK MOBILITY
How can the smart use of media technologies serve our growing demand for mobility – and, at the same time, point out new ways of getting from A to B in a convenient and sustainable way?
TRACK VIRTUAL PRODUCTION
What possibilities do technical innovations such as LED technology offer for creating even more impressive screen images?
TRACK INDUSTRY 4.0
How can immersive technologies shape and optimise industrial processes – from manufacturing and design analysis to training and sales?
TRACK DISTRIBUTION
What will the next stages in the much-discussed ‘Streaming War’ entail? And how has the coronavirus crisis affected the current constellation of players in the market?
TRACK VIRTUAL COMMUNICATION
What technologies will enable major events to migrate online and how can they create a "live" feeling? What new possibilities are offered by Virtual Reality?
TRACK DATA
How far have the algorithms evolved to revolutionise editing, VFX and production pipelines? What can we expect in the coming years?
On both conference days, an additional workshop track will invite you to work hands-on. Top-level speakers and representatives of the companies based on site will share their insights and knowledge with you. This is the place for deep media tech learning and practical experiences.
In case you're a Cinemalover, you can also join our digital cinema: #mthcon2020 participants have the choice between
six films, which can be streamed via our digital platform – not only during the conference on November 11-12 but also in the following four weeks until December 8, 2020.
Last but not least, we are also proud to present our partner programme with insightful sessions on
ContentTech (Trafo MediaTech), ScienceTech (University of Potsdam) and the creative industry (Berlin University of the Arts)!
