Hongyang (Una) Wang

Hongyang (Una) Wang is a PhD candidate at ETH Zurich. She is the lead researcher for no1s1, a self-owning house on the blockchain. In this concept, the house is a cyber-physical integrated node on the blockchain and is self-owning. The long-term vision for this project is to provoke the rethinking of future living, change human-machine-nature ownership and power relations, create abundance and commons, and explore a new way forward for the built environment.
She has diverse expertise in engineering, building systems, architecture and computer-aided design. She is a young entrepreneur and enthusiastic community contributor involved in multiple local and global initiatives that foster community building, cultural exchange, blockchain and DAO development, and radical social rethinking.
