Chair of the People-Centered Internet
Mei Lin Fung is the Chair of the People-Centered Internet which she co-founded with Vint Cerf. She was an early pioneer of CRM at Intel and Oracle and was Socio-Technical lead for the US Department of Defense Health Futures activity between 2009 and 2013. She is a member of the Executive Committee of IEEE's Society for Social Impact of Technology Committee, and chairs the Assessment subcommittee for IEEE’s Humanitarian Activities Committee. She was a member of the World Economic Forum Global Future Council for Digital Economy and Society, 2017-18, and has been recently appointed a Fellow at the Hasso Plattner Institute in the University of Potsdam. At MIT, where she did her MBA, she studied under Franco Modigliani, Robert Merton and Fisher Black.
