Project Leader at Konzepthaus
Robert Forrest is Project Leader at Konzepthaus, a global design consultancy and recruitment agency specifically for mobility design and digital creative industries. Robert’s 15-year tenure in automotive design evolved from early creative roles to being a proponent of experience design. He began his career writing about cars for a design journal, and a stint at a naval architect. From there he landed a position in Tokyo, where he spent three years in Honda’s advanced design studio.
Before joining Konzepthaus, Robert was a member of the BMW design team in Munich. He contributed to a number of designs for BMW, BMWi and Rolls-Royce, going on to lead innovation projects that determined his shift towards experience design. His interest in people, ideas and technology is reflected in his work, which uncovers the sweet spot between design, innovation and strategy for an array of clients. Robert holds an MA from the Royal College of Art, London, and has completed an executive management course at IESE Business School. He lives in Cambridge, UK.
